Parent Referrals
How can I refer my child to the Counselor?
Parents, teachers and students can make referrals by phone, email, or appointment. Students can leave a note in the mailbox outside my door. When referred, students are seen individually or in small group. Usually, the student and counselor work together to establish an individual goal related to the student's initial concern. While confidentiality is an inherent part of the counseling relationship, children are encouraged to share with parents. Children are generally seen no more than 4-6 individual sessions.
